Pokémon TCG League

The Pokémon TCG League is a great way for players of all ages to get together and hone their skills (and decks) in a casual setting. League members are rewarded for playing games, win or lose. The more you play, the more you earn! Leagues are held in safe, public locations, such as game stores, community centers or libraries and are run by official League Leaders.

Each league cycle consists of several seasons. Each season lasts approximately six weeks. Most leagues meet once a week for three to four hours. During that time, players earn prizes for participating in the league. Participation includes playing Pokémon TCG games, completing activities and trading cards.

This year's league cycle, the Sevii Islands League, is based on the seven islands found at the end of the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Game Boy Advance games. Each season represents one of the islands, with the eighth season representing the Trainer Tower, found on the final island. During the span of the Sevii Islands League, players will earn organized play exclusive promo cards, Poké Ball badges and cool Pokémon stickers. At the end of the final season, the players that have completed certain benchmarks in their badge book will earn a special prize.

You can find samples of the Sevii Islands League materials below.

There are hundreds of Pokémon TCG Leagues across North America and Europe, and many large cities have several leagues in different locations. If you're trying to find a league in your area, try using our League Locator.

If you are interested in becoming a League Leader, register for a My Pokémon account and fill out a Pokémon TCG League application. If you’ve already got a My Pokémon account, you will need to sign in before you can fill out the application.
